THERE ARE ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT IN 2017 — WHERE DID THE YEAR GO?

Anyone else wanting to slide into 2018 feeling fresh, open and ready to receive?

Have you started to plan for 2018?

Before you get your pen and paper out, to start planning all that you want to do and accomplish in the coming year, how about we take a moment to do 2 things: figure out how you want to FEEL in 2018 and take the time to review 2017.

FIGURE OUT HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL IN 2018

One thing for sure… I don’t know what 2018 has in store for me (or for you). I have no idea what amazing or devastating events will affect me/you. One thing that I do know is that I can DECIDE how I want to FEEL and hopefully I will be able to surf the highs and lows gracefully with that in mind. We might not be able to control every situation. Sometimes things are out of our hands, but we can certainly control how we react, how we feel, and how we show up in each and every moment. We can look for the lesson or the meaning and we can do our best to feel grateful when things are amazing and yes…even when the situation feels dark and ugly, chaotic or nasty.

So, how DO you want to FEEL in 2018?  So many words could come to mind; Happy, in love, heard, valued, energized, rested… how do you want to feel? Take a moment to wrap your head and heart around that then move to the next stage for planning the New Year.

REVIEW ALL THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF 2017

I have begun to plan some of my personal and business goals for 2018, but I did an exercise that really helped me look at my future through positive lenses rather than one of feeling inadequate. It’s really important to look backwards over the year(s) and to recognize what things worked and what things didn’t work, what things made you feel good what things made you feel not so good. Look back and see how far you have come and how much progress you have made so that you can plan your 2018 from a place of positivity and accomplishment versus from a place of ugh… I have so much farther to go to achieve my goals.

Even if 2017 didn’t look and feel the way you/I hoped it would — nothing happened that was accidental, wrong or by mistake. 2017 happened just the way it was supposed to, for YOU/ME. Maybe you/I didn’t get the lessons, maybe you/I don’t understand why things happened that way. They happened that way because it was supposed to be that way for you/me.

Try this! Use these questions to help you see 2017 in the positive light that will set the tone for your 2018 planning

  • What did you accomplish in 2017 that you are proud of?
  • List 10 things that worked really well in 2017?
  • What were you doing when you had your best day?
  • What lessons did you learn that you’re grateful for?
  • What feedback did you receive that gave you the warm and fuzzies?
  • Who helped you in 2017?
  • Who deserves acknowledgment?

Taking time to look back at all that you have accomplished and celebrate your wins it’s like a gift for your soul and a huge one up for your confidence levels. It’s like giving the universe a little nod that you are present, grounded, grateful for all of it and open to receive.

Now, have fun planning your 2018!

May all the bumps; the highs and the lows feel like an amazing, exhilarating ride.

HERE IS ONE OF MY 2018 GOALS/INTENTIONS.

It is actually a gift that I have created with you in mind. I want to offer each and every one of you a chance to be guided and inspired throughout the entire year, on a daily basis!

I have created a Closed Facebook page in order to serve you better.

The Wellness in Motion group is one that I createdto share tips, strategies and personal experiences about living life well, in motion, mindfully and in a healthy way. It is really about small commitments done multiple times a day or consistently rather than huge, challenging overwhelming, discouraging painful methods.

I will start each week off with inspiring you to set goals/intentions or join into a challenge for that week. I will share mindfulness and mobility tips as well as workplace movement infusion ideas. We will engage in inspirational, thought provoking and even sometimes taboo conversations about topics like pelvic floor health, women’s health, couples health, mental and emotional health etc. I will even share some of my recipes and strategies around ensuring healthy eating habits.

This is a safe and confidential place where we can post questions, share experiences, vent without fear of judgement.

JOIN MY ‘’CLOSED’’ FACEBOOK GROUP ENTITLED WELLNESS IN MOTION. AND START 2018 ON THE RIGHT FOOT… A MINDFUL, MOVEMENT FILLED FOOT!
